What exactly is Zinc oxide?


Zinc oxide is an inorganic chemical compound that has the chemical formula ZnO is an oxide of Zinc. A chemical reaction that is wet produces zinc oxide


Wet chemical processes are employed in small quantities for industrial production. It involves the use of an aqueous mix that has zinc salts. This is where zinc carbonate, or Zinc hydroxide is dissolved. At 800°C, the precipitate solid is transformed into calcine.
